    The UK’s tax department, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC), says it’s the first authority in the country to seize an NFT, BBC News reports. The seizure was made as part of a £1.4 million (roughly $1.9 million) fraud case, in which three individuals have been arrested.     You can’t buy a Tesla car with bitcoins anymore, but Tesla is still hodling bitcoins.

    According to a new SEC filing, Tesla’s Bitcoin holdings have been worth $1.99 billion as of Dec. 31, 2021.

    In the filing, the company says it invested roughly $1.5 billion in Bitcoin in 2021. The company recorded $101 million of impairment loss on its Bitcoin holdings, but it also realized gains of $128 billion from selling a portion of its bitcoins in March 2021.…
